A minimalist Lovecraftian city-builder where cozy fishing villages meet the Elder Gods.
Place buildings, uncover synergies, and appease what waits beneath.

About the game

Isles of Innsmouth is a single-player minimalist city-builder inspired by Lovecraftian horror and cozy New England fishing villages. You place buildings to grow your settlement and appease the Elder Gods, and they reward you with new islands and structures. Discover synergies to improve your score, or just relax and build in creative sandbox mode to enjoy the cozy-horror vibes.

Game pillars

Place Cards, Not Spreadsheets

No complex economy, no resource management — just place buildings from the cards you’re dealt. The depth comes from what sits next to what: uncover synergies between building types to raise your score, and unlock additional islands and cards to expand how far your settlement can sprawl.

Sixty Structures, Endless Coastlines

Over 60 different structures to discover, from humble docks to things best left undescribed. Every island is procedurally generated with a unique deck order and layout, so no two settlements are the same — and you can share seeds with friends to see who builds the better score.

Cozy Horror, On Your Terms

Don’t want to keep score? Creative sandbox mode lets you build for the pleasure of it. Take control of camera, lighting, and weather in photo mode to capture your settlement at its most atmospheric, all while an original gloomy ambient soundtrack pulls you into the flow.
